I got my vouchers - Now what?

You have applied for your vouchers towards buying a convertor box. You have read the list of boxes that you can use the voucher to buy. How do you choose?
So far I have bought two different boxes.

Magnavox The first one I got was a Magnavox one from WalMart. Apart from an on/off switch it has no controls on the box. You must use the remote control to use it. Zenith The second box I got was a Zenith from Radio Shack. This box has channel buttons on the front. It's remote control looks a lot more stylish than the Magnavox one.

PC HDTV Video I have tried many Video capture cards for PCs mostly the ATI AllinWonder cards. I also have Hauppauge WinTV cards and the HVR 950 USB tuner. I also bought the optional tail with the audio/s-video/video connectors. I use the Hauppauge WinTV card to do VHS - DVD conversions. This works well except that sometimes the generated MPEG 2 file causes media player to crash at the end. To fix this I edit the file with Ulead Media Studio Pro.
